I know Yuffie's already contacted you about Sephiroth. It might be better for the two of us to distance ourselves a while, at least until we know how things stand. As a general rule, collateral damage isn't a big concern for him. At the very least, I don't think you should go anywhere alone for the next few days.

There's a new arrival to the city from my world. He's extremely dangerous and unstable and, while he hasn't shown any signs of aggression yet, it's entirely possible he'll come after me. He has no scruples about attacking through other people and I worry he may see you as a target. While I have no wish to discontinue our association, I'd rather not place you and yours in danger. I understand entirely if you'd like me to resign.

[OOC: Do whatever you'd like with this, Reeve way underestimates just how tough Walter and co. are, and he's having a small "ZOMG SEPHIROTH" panic attack at the moment. After all, his second to last boss got made into a desk-kabob. XD]

I'm sorry I've been gone recently, and to be so abrupt. Have you renewed your relationship with the police department? If you have, there's an individual in the city -- he's arrived only recently, but he's very insane and very well armed. I'm seriously concerned by his presence here and I'd like the authorities alerted.

On a more personal note, it's probable he'll come after Yuffie or I, and definite that he'll kill anyone in his path when he does. He wouldn't go out of his way to come after you but if he felt it expedient -- you might want to stay away from us both for a few days, at least until we know his intentions. He is thorough.

Who is it? The persons I am assigned to observe have not made any suspicious moves lately- or in the entire two weeks I have been watching-, so at very least I would prefer to be able at least know for certain who is involved and watch what they post on the network. I’ll keep my distance in person, but I make no promises I won’t interfere if it looks like the two of you are going to be killed or any promises I will completely sever contact with you- the odds are small, even if not zero, that one of my filters could be broken without my knowledge of it.

Amanda, please promise me you won't confront him. This is not me being overprotective; he's that terrible. I can't even imagine the criteria that would induce him to kill you; he might do it just to amuse himself.

Watching is not confrontation. Like I said, I’ll be keeping my distance, though from the implication that this is someone who needs no provocation, I think it would be better for me to have a plan in case he confronts me just because I was in seeing distance through pure bad luck.

I won’t let anyone die senselessly, though…

If it comes down to a confrontation with the police, I’ll do what the warden assigns me to.

Maybe I’m a little paranoid, but…I do wonder why alert the authorities through me rather than directly contact the warden and just ask me to stay away. Is this warning also intended to be recorded as an anonymous tip to get the attention of the police or possible official surveillance while having the source of the information be kept hidden from outside eyes?

Just be careful... he has killed -- Yuffie's entire nation, sprawling over a prosperous continent, was reduced to two decrepit cities almost overnight. And that was before he went insane. Please be careful.

It is possible I'm overreacting. I don't know his state of mind yet, he may be completely fine, the way things happen in this city -- if it becomes clear he's dangerous, I will make this public, of course. For now, I'm just concerned about those close to us.

All I can promise is caution. You take care, as well; it wouldn’t be fair to expect me to be cautious only to deliberately put yourself in danger.

There must be a limit to bad luck, otherwise there would be no knowledge of good luck, right? Putting attempts to limit paranoia aside, it would truly be best to watch and make sure that damage control would be possible if a warning sign was missed. Until a judgment can be made based on his actions in the City, it would be best to watch. If he turns out to be from a period were he was sane, then there shouldn’t be any special actions taken; but in the case of insanity, then things will get dangerous.

[OOC: Oh that makes perfect sense to me, too, but we don’t have the forth wall in the way of seeing that kind of thing. Pesky thing that wall~ XD]
