Physically, you're pale and your skin is cold to the touch. Your senses of warm and cold are dulled, and extremes tend not to bother you. As a general rule, everything feels less intense, as if you're experiencing it from a great distance or dimly remembering it. Coming alive again is almost overwhelming.

You still feel everything, but it's darker. At least, that was my experience. You can do anything, even play games or fall in love, and still feel incomplete.

You wouldn't be asking these questions unless you or someone you cared for had this particular affliction, so let me sum it up for you. If they died here, you can contact the deities and trade for your life back. They'll demand another in exchange, but that's posturing. You can bargain them down.

If they arrived here dead, they died in your world. You can still speak to the deities, but... I don't know if they'll help.
